We support the work of Feeding America, a nonprofit dedicated to making food available to the hungry and the food insecure through supporting local food banks and food pantries. If you want to help, donate to Feeding America. This is an urgent request now because recommended social distancing leads to reduced employment and school closures which have a more detrimental impact on people with fewer resources. Kids who rely on school breakfast, lunches, snacks and in some cases, dinner to go, will not only be going without education, but also without nutrition. There are food pantries and food banks in most every community and most have stepped up efforts during this uncertain time. Feeding America supports these efforts.
